Kappa Alpha Psi

Kappa Alpha Psi

Kappa Alpha Psi, founded on January 5, 1911, at Indiana University Bloomington, is an esteemed Greek-letter fraternity with a rich history. With over 150,000 members and more than 700 undergraduate and alumni chapters throughout the United States, it has become one of the largest and most highly respected fraternities in the country. Kappa Alpha Psi is a proud National Pan-Hellenic Council member, an umbrella organization for nine historically African-American fraternities and sororities, and has chapters worldwide, including in Germany, Korea, the United Kingdom, Japan, and the Bahamas.

Notably, Kappa Alpha Psi is committed to community service and social activism, with Guide Right and Kappa League being two of its most prominent national programs. Guide Right offers mentorship and guidance to young men, while Kappa League prepares young men for college and beyond. The fraternity's members are encouraged to excel in all aspects of their lives, with "Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor" serving as the fraternity motto.

Kappa Alpha Psi places a strong emphasis on leadership development. It offers a variety of leadership development programs, including the Kappa Leadership Institute and the John Milton Lee Jr. Leadership Conference. With a long-standing tradition of excellence, Kappa Alpha Psi continues to inspire and impact communities worldwide.
